Planning a trip to Newfoundland...

A&L Parking was started in June, 2000, and we are dedicated to providing the best parking solutions for our customers. Our team is passionate about making parking easy and stress-free for everyone. Most of our employees have at some point worked for the ferry service and can offer advice and assistance. With over 24 years of experience in the parking business, we have the knowledge and expertise to handle any parking situation. Whether you need parking for a day trip or for the month, we've got you covered. 

• We offer parking for cars, trucks & trailers taking their ATVs across the island, as well as parking for other types of vehicles. Our goal is to provide our customers with the most convenient and affordable parking options available. Availability hasn't been an issue since we opened, however, trucks hauling trailers with ATVs (or anything over 20  feet) need to call in advance and make a booking so we can have enough staff to marshal the large volume of vehicles on busy days. 
• Making a Booking is most efficiently done via text (902-561-0011) that way the customer, and A&L staff, can easily verify booking details by referring back to the Booking Texts. 
• The owners have spent considerable time in Newfoundland ATVing, hunting and fishing and are happy to assist customers when planning a trip. Also, as a Search & Rescue volunteer and President of our local ATV club I can provide information on trips around Newfoundland and Cape Breton.

We're located at 4 Forrest Street, North Sydney across from the ferry property.

Customers with ATVs should go to the ferry to purchase their tickets before they arrive at the parking lot. You can simply cross the street and enter their property if you have your physical ticket. Otherwise, you must travel on the road to get your ticket, which is prohibited in Nova Scotia. If you have a reservation with Marine Atlantic you still need to go to the ticket booth to get your physical ticket and check in for your sailing.

The trails in Newfoundland and the landscapes are spectacular and will leave you filled with awe and amazement. However, so can the weather! Monitor the weather and the weather advisories for the ferry. Bring clothing appropriate for the island climate. Tire plugs or a spare tire are a must and don't forget a fully stocked tool kit. We offer a wide range of parking solutions from daily to monthly parking. In the summer months a lot attendant is on duty 3-4 hours before each sailing. During the off season customers can call for information on self parking. For pricing for any type of vehicle simply call 902-561-0011
